MathGraph targets at research of functions of one variable, also works in two directions: graphic constructions and mathematical calculations.
The program has possibilities:
- to draw the graphs of Cartesian, polar and parametrical functions
- to find the roots of the equation f(x) =0 on the given interval
- to find an analytical type of derivative from the given function
- to draw the graphs of derivatives of functions
- to draw the graphs of tangents, normals, verticals and horizontals for functions in points
- to calculate determined integral and variation of function
MathGraph can work with many functions simultaneously. The program has the convenient and friendly interface.
Also has properties for adjustment of graphic area. You can save graphic area in an image file.
The program can demonstrate some methods of calculation that are used in MathGraph.
Working area of the main window of the program is possible to be broken on two parts.
On the right part is graphic area in which schedules of functions are under construction, schedules of derivative functions, tangents and normals.
On the left part is panel of functions wich consist of:
- the panel of editing of function;
Here it is possible to add, destroy, edit mathematical functions, to set color and visibility of the schedule of each function.
- the panel of viewing of functions;
All functions entered by the user with parameters of display of the schedule here are displayed, and active function gets out.
- the panel of calculations;
Here it is possible to spend different calculations and additional constructions for active function. And here are located such pages: roots, integral, a derivative and tangents, a variation, values of function.
- the panel of viewing mathematical type of function and derivative;
This kind of functions can be kept in a graphic file with the help of the contextual menu.
For the given program the convenient interface which essentially facilitates work of the user is developed:
For introduction of expressions of functions rules of recording of the operators, similar to simple languages
of programming are used; as much as possible simplified operations of scaling and moving of schedules of
functions which are carried out by simple pressing or a proheavy mousy; In the program ample opportunities,
be relative настраивания appearance of schedules. The program works with unlimited amount of functions.
The figure created in the program can be exported in BMP or JPG - formats for further use in other programs.
